چکیده
Despite significant advancements in neuroprosthetic control strategies, current peripheral nerve interfacing techniques are limited their ability to facilitate accurate and reliable long-term control. The regenerative interface (RPNI) is a biologically stable bioamplifier of efferent motor action potentials with demonstrated stability. This innovative, straightforward, reproducible surgical technique has shown enormous potential improving prosthetic for individuals upper limb amputations. RPNI consists an autologous free muscle graft secured around the end transected or individual fascicles within residual limb. construct facilitates EMG signal transduction from device using indwelling bipolar electrodes on surface. review article focuses development its use intuitive enhanced sensory feedback. In addition, this also highlights RPNIs prevention treatment postamputation pain.
